“I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you.”
John 16:12-14

In my walk with the Lord I am discovering that union with Him is not based on anything I can do. I have to accept the reality that if I am going to experience it, He will be the one who makes it happen.

My desire to participate in His activity in and around me is all because of Him working in my life. Without Him, I am hopelessly left to my own devices and every one of them are aimed at satisfying my ego’s lust for recognition and insatiable appetite for control.

I am eternally grateful for the way He sends the Holy Spirit into my life to convict me of my sins and transgressions. It is only by the continual course corrections that come by way of His messengers that I am able to stay on the path which keeps me in fellowship with Him.

I pray He will draw me closer to Him and expose those rebellious areas of my life.
