One of the problems I had in the past was putting my hope in illusive dreams. I expected that something I envisioned in my mind would somehow be better than my current state of being and bring me gratification. Now I can enjoy every present moment as it is without hoping that some event or thing, I acquire in the future will provide me with something more desirable. Communion with the Lord makes every moment meaningful, regardless of the situation or circumstances in which I find myself. All of my hopes and dreams are in Him and I trust Him to make everything that happens work together for good. I pray that God will keep me content in Him so that I don’t have to seek anything in the future to give me more pleasure than I already possess.
