“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ…”
Ephesians 1:7-9

Truly, “riches” is the most accurate way to describe what we have available to us in Christ. The redemption Jesus has provided through His blood shed on the cross is so complete and sufficient to cover our sins that we can receive undeserved forgiveness. We are lavished in the grace that won’t run out.

God’s redemption gets at the core of who we are and what we need in order to be made new. He doesn’t just address a particular circumstance or difficulty but instead addresses our desperate need to be connected to Him. Connection we don’t deserve — His mercy overrules our brokenness.
