I used to think a lot about the future because I could anticipate what I wanted to happen. If I didn’t like the way things were, I could imagine the way that I desired them to be. I seldom considered how God was going to be involved in my plans. Whether or not the events I wanted to happen came to be never really mattered because they were all an illusion. I was either happy if they were fulfilled or disappointed if they weren’t. Either way, I wasn’t concerned whether the Lord was with me or not. Now, my life is different. I am enjoying every moment because I am trying to continually abide in fellowship with Him. My life situations change continually but He is always my stability. I don’t have to create my environment because God’s Kingdom is the domain in which I want to dwell. I pray that He will make all of my plans fail if He is not the center of each of them.
“As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God.”

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
Matthew 6:33
