We all need to hear good news. We don’t have to look very far to find bad news; it seems to be all around us. When I think of Jesus, traveling into Galilee “proclaiming good news,” that the “kingdom of God has come near,” I am filled with relief and gratitude for the truth that is still true in my life today. God doesn’t promise us a life without trials, hardships, and pain. But when we repent and BELIEVE God is who He says He is, we are promised to never walk the road alone. Emmanuel, God with us. Now that is good news!
After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God. “The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”
