The Oaks Project was a two-year campaign to build a new multipurpose building, a parking lot, and a community park. The project’s vision was for the church family to continue growing and sowing. Grow our faith, grow strong and healthy families, and sow seeds into the next generation and our surrounding community so that they would have the opportunity to grow closer to Jesus.
The name The Oaks Project came from Isaiah 61:3, which speaks of God’s people being called “oaks of righteousness” – strong, rooted, and planted for His glory. From the beginning, the goal was not simply to construct infrastructure, but to create intentional spaces where people could find connection, grow in faith, and be equipped to serve others.
Today, that vision has been fulfilled. Construction is complete, the spaces are fully in use, and the fundraising journey has come to a close. What began as a step of faith is now a place of weekly impact – where people belong in community, grow in faith, and are sent out to reach the world. All of this for the glory of God and for the display of His splendor!
