"Abide in me, as I also abide in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must abide in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If you abide in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."
John 15:4-5
"For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by Him we cry, 'Abba, Father'"
Romans 8:14-15

Every moment of every day I want the Lord to be the center of my thoughts. God is always with me; Christ lives in me and the Holy Spirit leads me. Wherever I am I breathe because He gives me breath. I pass through time because He gave me the occasion to experience life in an infinite variety of forms. Wherever I go God gives me space to occupy. Without these I would not be able to survive. For most of my life I have taken them for granted. Now I acknowledge that I am on this planet with a divine mission to abide in Christ, living each moment consciously aware of His presence. In every circumstance, situation and condition I find myself, I surrender to Him and take every thought captive to obey Christ with a heart of gratitude and recognition that God alone is Sovereign. I pray that He will help me make this my normal way of living the remainder of my life on earth.
