"Let your eyes look straight ahead, fix your gaze directly before you. Make level paths for your feet and take only ways that are firm. Do not swerve to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil."
Proverbs 4:25-27
"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."
Matthew 7:13-14

God’s way is the right way and that is how I want to live. Jesus said that I need to enter through the small gate because the other gate is wide and the road is broad that ends in destruction. His way is narrow and it always leads to life. I have not always walked on the narrow road and my drifting has caused me a lot of trouble. That is what happens when I am not totally committed to living life God’s way. Whatever part of me is still seeking something other than Him always results in conflict with His way of living and creates a dilemma for me. My one goal in life is to live continually in His presence and when I am successful in doing that, nothing else is able to influence me. When I am preoccupied with other things, I find myself getting disoriented. I am so grateful for His grace and mercy that allows me to get my focus back on Him and His Kingdom so I can immediately get back on that narrow road that leads to life.
