There are so many blessings that God has given me through Jesus Christ that I cannot begin to count them all. As I reflect on what He has done, I become aware of both tangible and intangible benefits. One of the greatest is the freedom I now have from condemnation because the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. Before I came to faith in Jesus Christ as my Redeemer, I was under the condemnation of all my transgressions and sins. My unconscious behavior continually resulted in negative outcomes that had horrible effects on me and those that I loved. The deliverance I have experienced from those dreadful addictions are tremendous affirmations of God’s goodness and mercy which have followed me as I have followed Jesus Christ. Now, instead of debauchery and selfish intentions, I have within me the source of His fruit which not only blesses me but everyone who is able to benefit from it. I thank God for the liberty that I have in Jesus Christ.
“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering.”
