"After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped."
Revelation 7:9-11

Do you ever wonder what it will be like to finally experience this moment? The promise we have read about throughout our entire walk with Jesus will be seen right before our eyes. Not only the promise of salvation to us but the specific promise that God gave to Abraham thousands of years ago. In Genesis 26:4, God tells Abraham, ” I will cause your descendants to become as numerous as the stars of the sky, and I will give them all these lands. And through your descendants, all the nations of the earth will be blessed.” This is the moment where we will see the full circle, the full picture moment of the great multitude. We will see exactly what God meant when He made this promise to Abraham.

How beautiful not only that God brings us to this moment with Him, but that we get to partner with God in His grand, beautiful plan of salvation during our time here on earth. Just as God co-labored with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, he co-labors with us to fulfill His purposes. We will worship with those who we randomly shared the Gospel with on a Tuesday afternoon, the friends who we consistently met at coffee shops with, and the ones who gave their lives to Jesus when we least expected it. One day, we will witness this great multitude of Abraham’s descendants praising the Lamb. We get the high honor and privilege of living for the greatest Kingdom to ever exist. I encourage you to ask yourself how this beautiful picture of salvation can give you hope and joy today. My friends, don’t grow weary in doing good today. Let this inevitable, glorious future fuel your fire for the One who holds salvation.
