Psalm 91 has been one that God has used immensely in my life. In seasons where I felt hopeless or frozen in fear, God used this specific Psalm to reveal His power and protection over me in all circumstances. When I felt I didn’t have the words to speak or even pray, I spoke those words out loud. In moments of deep despair, God taught me to say and believe that “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Are you in the midst of circumstances that feel hopeless? Have you run out of words/energy/motivation? I want to encourage you to read the full chapter of Psalm 91 over yourself today. Ask Him to be your refuge; “dwell” in His presence. It is only in His presence and under His wings that we can find true refuge and rest.
"Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him."
Psalm 91:1-2
"He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection."
Psalm 91:4
