Time and time again I find myself balancing faith and fear. As a dad of two young boys, sometimes I fear the world they may grow up in. As a husband, I fear failing at leading and serving my wife well. As a minister, I fear not having all the right answers or not being enough for people. The truth is that our fears reflect areas of faithlessness in our hearts. But God promises us that even in our lack of faith, He is ALWAYS faithful. For those who have put their trust in Jesus, He always comes through. Sometimes it’s unconventional and not what we ourselves had in mind. Nevertheless, He is faithful and just; He will not leave us nor forsake us!
“if we are faithless, he remains faithful— for he cannot deny himself.”
2 Timothy 2:13
