Focus 2020 was a huge success!! 300 students, 40 leaders, 19 Host Homes, 13 Service Projects, 8 Baptisms (and more to come!) and those are just the stats. God moved in the hearts and lives of 6th-12th grade students throughout the weekend in inexplicable ways.
The theme of Focus this year was “Follow Me.” We walked through John 8:12, highlighting the difference between light/darkness, what it looks like to follow Jesus, and how to be leaders amongst our peers that point to Jesus.
In a culture with so much “stuff” grabbing for our attention and affection, we must choose what we follow or we will become like what we follow. Because of His grace and mercy, Jesus gives us a way out of the dark and into LIGHT through HIM! When we choose to place our trust and identity in HIM, we are led our of the darkness and into everlasting life. We don’t have time to waste … it’s time to GO!
