Pre-K-1st:

What you need: Memory verse coloring page & crayons

What you do:

  1. Color the picture.

Lesson:

Galatians 6:9 tells us to never give up. If we memorize scripture, we can remember these things all the time!


2nd-3rd

Determination Dialogue

What you need: Activity Page, pencil, 2 pieces of paper & crayons

What you do:

  1. Answer the questions listed on the activity page for days 1-4.
  2. Color the pictures you draw.

Lesson: Has having a question ever made it challenging for you to get something done? One thing is for sure: it’s okay to have questions! Instead of letting our questions frustrate us, we should ask adults we trust, pray for answers, look in the Bible or devotional books, and many other things!


4th-5th

Weekly Challenge

Challenge: Weekly Activity

Send a picture of your completed Weekly Activity to kids@cypresscreekchurch.com.  Entries are due by midnight on Friday, May 29th. Winners will be announced on Saturday, May 30th and will win a $5 gift card to The Sugar Shack. We will have one Pre-K and one K-5th grade winner.

Please include the child’s full name, age/grade, and their parent’s phone number in the email!

Memory Verse Competition

Pre-K:

Email kids@cypresscreekchurch.com a video of your kid saying, “Let us not become weary in doing good.” Galatians 6:9a (NIV) from memory by midnight on Sunday, May 31st for your name to be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a $5 gift card to The Wooden Spoon. Winner will be announced on Monday, June 1st.

Kinder-5th grade:

Email kids@cypresscreekchurch.com a video of your kid saying Galatians 6:9 (NIV) from memory by midnight on Sunday, May 31st for your name to be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a $5 gift card to The Wooden Spoon.  For your name to be entered twice say the verse from memory with the hand motions. Winner will be announced on Monday, June 1st.

Here is the fun part!!! If we receive 15 videos of you saying your memory verse then Alexa gets to pour slime all over Scarlett. If we receive 25 entries then Scarlett gets to slime Alexa and of course we will post a video on social media for your enjoyment! You better start memorizing!
