About

Serve alongside the staff of Cypress Creek Church, a family of imperfect people following the perfect Savior, Jesus. The Cypress Creek Church Internship Program provides hands-on ministry experience, intentional discipleship, and opportunities to grow in spiritual maturity while developing skills in leadership and administration. Interns serve individuals and groups in meaningful ways as they belong, grow, and reach.

The program runs from August 2026 through May 2027 (10 months) and is a part-time, paid commitment requiring approximately 20 hours per week.

This program is designed for those in a season of growth and development—whether in college, recently graduated, or exploring a call to ministry.

Areas of Interest

Kids Ministry

The Kids Ministry Intern supports and helps communicate the vision of Kids Ministry at Cypress Creek Church, serving children from infancy through 5th grade. This individual has a passion for the Lord, a heart for kids, and a desire to build meaningful relationships with children and families. The intern must be willing to serve, grow, receive feedback, and invest in the spiritual development of kids in a fun, safe, and engaging environment.


Student Ministry

The Student Ministry Intern is responsible for supporting and communicating the vision of Student Ministry at Cypress Creek Church. This individual has a passion for the Lord, a heart for middle school and high school students, and a desire to cultivate relationships. The intern must be willing to serve, grow, receive feedback, and invest in 6th–12th grade students.


College Ministry

The Crosstalk Intern is responsible for supporting and communicating the vision of Cypress Creek Church care for college students through Crosstalk. This individual has a passion for the Lord, a heart for college-aged students, and a desire to further the gospel at Texas State University. The intern must be willing to serve, grow, receive feedback, and invest in college students.


Worship Ministry

The Worship Intern is responsible for supporting and communicating the vision of Cypress Creek Church worship. This individual has a passion for the Lord, an appreciation for music, and a heart for creating worship environments that help people connect with Jesus. The intern must be willing to serve, grow, receive feedback, and invest in other members of the worship team.


Communications // Content & Written Communication or Media & Creative

The Communications Intern supports the Communications Director in executing communication systems and storytelling strategies that strengthen connection and impact within Cypress Creek Church and beyond. This role is designed for a growing communicator who is eager to learn and contribute through writing, content coordination, media workflows, and brand consistency.
